Athletes have the option to add the service of an in-person stride & gait assessment. Your form, gait, stride length, foot strike, arm swing and body lean, are all components that can impact your running efficiency. During the stride & gait assessment we will identify if changes can be made to improve your overall efficiency to make you a better runner.
The components of the formal stride & gait assessment are as follows:
Evaluation and Assessment:
Footwear assessment
Injury history considerations
Biomechanical and movement analysis
Functional strength and mobility assessment
Analysis to detect vulnerabilities and form tendencies
Action Plan Development:
A written summary of your findings including pictures/video (if taken)
3-5 exercises with instructions that focus on primary discoveries
Tactical recommendations to improve performance and reduce injuries
Plan for continuation of future training sessions or self-directed training
